Dr. Nungsari Ahmad Radhi
Dr. Nungsari Ahmad Radhi was appointed as the Managing Director of Prokhas on 1 September 2013.
He currently serves as the Principal Officer and Board Member of Pengurusan Danaharta Nasional Berhad (Danaharta), Syarikat Jaminan Pembiayaan Perniagaan Berhad (SJPP) and Syarikat Jaminan Kredit Perumahan Berhad (SJKP). Dr. Nungsari is also the Principal Officer of DanaInfra Nasional Berhad and sits on the Board of Blue Archipelago Berhad and Agrifood Resources Holdings Sdn Bhd.
Prior to joining Prokhas, he was an Executive Director at Khazanah Nasional. In his career of almost 30 years, he has been an academic, a Member of Parliament, a consultant, a columnist, and a policy advocate. His professional interest is in microeconomic aspects of policy and strategy research. He is trained in economics and mathematics and holds a PhD from the Krannert School of Management, Purdue University, United States of America.
Dato’ Kamal Mohd Ali
Chief Operating Officer
Dato’ Kamal Mohd Ali joined Prokhas in April 2008. He began his career as a Credit Officer at Bank Bumiputra Malaysia Berhad and thereafter held various key positions in the Bank for the following 22 years, including as the General Manager for BBMB Singapore and BCB Labuan Offshore (after the bank merged to form Bumiputra Commerce Bank Berhad). He has also served as the Group Head for Emerging Corporate II, Corporate Banking Division, managing a portfolio in excess of USD550 million comprising public listed companies engaged in manufacturing, services, oil & gas, construction, plantation and stock broking activities.
For his achievements, Dato’ Kamal was awarded the Superior Performance Employee by the Asian Institute of Management, Manila in 1994. In April 2005, he was appointed as the General Manager, Corporate & Institutional Banking Division, Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad (BIMB) and a Management Member of BIMB Holdings Berhad. From May 2006, Dato’ Kamal was tapped to lead the Export-Import Bank of Malaysia Berhad as the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, responsible for the overall operations, management and planning of the Bank. Dato’ Kamal graduated from Universiti Malaya with a Bachelor in Economics (Hons) in 1983 and later obtained his Diploma in Banking & Finance from Institut Bank-Bank Malaysia (IBBM) in 1995. Dato’ Kamal holds a Master’s Degree of Business Administration (Islamic Finance) from Universiti of Malaya.
Chen Yin Heng
Senior General Manager - Management Services
Chen began his career in the banking industry as a Trainee Officer at Co-operative Central Bank (CCB) in 1986. In 1988, he served as a Recovery Officer in the Housing & Mortgage Loan (Recovery Department) at MBF Finance Berhad and later as a Credit Officer of Development & Commercial Bank Berhad in 1989. In 1991, he joined Oriental Bank Berhad as the Assistant Manager of Corporate Banking Department and subsequently the Deputy Manager of the Corporate/Institutional Banking Department, managing various portfolios comprising of local and foreign corporate clients with exposure to diverse industries ranging from Manufacturing, Property Development, Infrastructure, Petroleum, Stockbroking/Share Financing and Telecommunications industries. He then joined Bank of Commerce (M) Bhd in 1993 as the Assistant Vice President in Corporate Banking. In 1995, he left the banking industry and joined Puncakdana Development Sdn Bhd; a property development company as its Finance & Administration Manager where he was responsible for analysing project viability and preparation of cash flow statements.
Shortly after, he held the Marketing Manager position and was responsible for the launching of development projects especially the Puncak Ara Damansara project with an achievement of over 80% of total sales. His responsibility includes detailed feasibility studies as well as handling the advertising and promotional aspects of the development projects. He later joined Pengurusan Danaharta Nasional Berhad (Danaharta) in October 1998 where he last held the position as Assistant General Manager heading the Informal and Section 176 Schemes Group and developed extensive experience in the evaluation of major debt-restructuring schemes. He joined Prokhas in 1 January 2006 as the Assistant General Manager of Operations. He took on the position as Deputy General Manager of Danaharta Operations after 3 years and finally headed the Credit Division as General Manager in January 2011. Chen graduated from Latrobe University, Melbourne, Australia with a Bachelor in Economics.
Juanita Rusmini Abdul Jalil
General Manager - Corporate Services
Juanita started her career as a Renong Management Trainee attached to Projek Lebuhraya Utara-Selatan Berhad (PLUS Berhad) in 1994. Upon completion of the management trainee programme, and over a period of five and a half years, she was assigned to the Human Resource Department, followed by the Internal Audit Department where she was responsible to conduct audits on departments, regional offices and toll plazas and subsequently the Corporate Affairs Department. Her last position in PLUS Berhad was Assistant Manager, Corporate Affairs Department. In 2001, she was promoted to Senior Manager and transferred to Kinta Kellas PLC (now known as Opus Berhad); another subsidiary of Renong Berhad mainly involved in project management. There she was attached to the Corporate Services Division of Kinta Kellas PLC, in charge of the accounting operations of the company, responsible in developing the finance manuals, policies and procedures, preparing the budget as well as monitoring actual performance against budget for the company and its Malaysian subsidiaries.
Juanita joined Prokhas in May 2006 as Senior Manager, Special Projects Division and was the team lead for the implementation of an End-To-End Financing System (ETEFS) for a Government agency. She was later promoted to Assistant General Manager, Financial Solutions in 2009. In 2010, she was appointed as the Head of Finance & Advisory Division. Her job scope includes overseeing the operations of the Finance & Treasury Department and the advisory engagements in the Corporate Advisory Department. On the same year she became the Head of Finance & Human Resource Division and took on the position as Deputy General Manager before being promoted to General Manager in 2012. Juanita holds a Bachelor of Accounting from University of Malaya and a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow.
Shamsiah A Rahman
General Manager - Outsourcing
Shamsiah A Rahman joined Prokhas as Assistant General Manager and Head of Secretarial Services in February 2006 and is currently the Head of Secretarial Services Division and General Manager. A Chartered Secretary and an associate member of the Malaysian Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (MAICSA) by profession, she brings with her more than 20 years of experience in the Company Secretarial line.
Prior to joining Prokhas, she was the Head of Secretarial Unit and the Joint Company Secretary of Pengurusan Danaharta Nasional Berhad (Danaharta) until its closure in December 2005. She continues to be the Joint Company Secretary of Danaharta Group of Companies and several government owned public and private companies as well as companies limited by guarantee such as DanaInfra Nasional Berhad, Mass Rapid Transit Corporation Sdn Bhd, Syarikat Jaminan Pembiayaan Perniagaan Berhad, Talent Corporation Berhad and many more, under the outsourced company secretarial services provided by her department.
Ahmad Khairi Shamsuddin
Chief Financial Officer
Khairi started his career in 1997 as a chartered accountant trainee with a small accounting firm in the UK. Upon completion of the trainee programme, he then joined the Tax Services Division of Arthur Andersen & Co. based in Kuala Lumpur for about a year before moving to UMW Group of Companies as the HQ Accountant where he was mainly responsible for financial reporting function of the conglomerate which consists of more than 30 companies in Malaysia and Asia Pacific region.
In 2006, Khairi joined Prokhas as a Manager where he led financial due diligence exercises for a couple of Government agencies involving the current state assessment and recommendation of turnaround plans for the agencies. Subsequently, he was appointed as a member of the Independent Checking Experts (ICE) providing financial advisory services to the Ministry of Finance.
Khairi graduated from De Montfort University, Leicester, UK with a Bachelor (Hons) in Accounting & Finance and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW) and member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA). He is currently the Chief Financial Officer of Prokhas and has a total of 20 years working experience in the areas of financial reporting, accounting, auditing, advisory, treasury and taxation.
Azlan Mohd Agel
Deputy General Manager - Managing Director's Office
Azlan has over 26 years of corporate experience. He joined Prokhas is 2006 and is currently the Deputy General Manager heading the Managing Director’s Office Division where he oversees the Strategy, Programme Management Office, Risk Management and Corporate Communications functions across the company. Prior to his current appointment, Azlan was Prokhas’ Head of Technology Solutions Division for 8 years where he was responsible for the overall strategic planning, application and operations of IT within Prokhas, and was also responsible for the delivery of various IT-related assignments for Prokhas’ external clients.
Before joining Prokhas, Azlan was with Software Alliance Malaysia, Price Waterhouse (Management Consultancy Services), PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting and IBM Business Consulting Services. Azlan holds degrees in Computer Science and Economics from New Mexico State University, USA and received his Project Management certification from Project Management Institute, Pennsylvania in 2005.
Deputy General Manager - Advisory Services
Natasha Zain is currently the Head of Advisory Services Division for Prokhas. She has over 20 years of experience in financial advisory, management consulting, strategy and corporate planning. She joined Prokhas in 2009 as a Manager in Corporate Advisory, promoted to Head of Department in 2010, before assuming her current position in 2014. Natasha graduated from the University of Bristol, United Kingdom with a B.Sc. (Hons) in Economics and Accounting with Law.
Natasha started off her career as an Investment Analyst with Pesaka Jardine Fleming, a multinational investment bank, undertaking equity investment research which encompassed financial analysis, modelling and valuation, as well as industry research and client liaison. Natasha later joined PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting Malaysia as a Consultant in the Financial Advisory Services division, where she provided strategy and corporate finance advisory, specifically in project financing and privatization. In 2004, Natasha was with Sharikat Permodalan Kebangsaan (SPK) Berhad as the Strategy & Communications Manager. Her role involved strategy formulation and KPI monitoring, business development and corporate communications. Prior to joining Prokhas, she was the Senior Manager, Strategy, Office of Group President and CEO for the Sapura Group, where she was involved in strategy, corporate planning, mergers & acquisitions and business development for the diversified conglomerate.
