Datuk Fazlur Rahman Zainuddin
Chief Executive Officer


Datuk Fazlur Rahman Zainuddin was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Prokhas Sdn Bhd on 11 March 2024.

Fazlur Rahman currently serves as the Board Member of Pengurusan Danaharta Nasional Berhad (Danaharta) and the Principal Officer of Syarikat Jaminan Pembiayaan Perniagaan Berhad (SJPP), Syarikat Jaminan Kredit Perumahan Berhad (SJKP) and DanaInfra Nasional Berhad (DINB).

Fazlur Rahman started his career in 1990 as a trainee accountant and auditor at Helmore, Helmore & Co in London and later in tax advisory at Price Waterhouse Kuala Lumpur in 1993.

Fazlur held a variety of financial management roles in local and international corporations from the year 1995 until 2012, such as the NAZA Group of Companies from 2010 to 2012, Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) from 2005 to 2010 and Shell Malaysia from 1995 to 2005.

Fazlur Rahman was appointed as the Chief Financial Officer at Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) from 2012 to 2018, and later as the Chief Strategy Officer from 2018 until November 2022.

Fazlur Rahman is qualified as an accountant and has been a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) United Kingdom since 1995. He is also a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.

Juanita Rusmini Abdul Jalil
Chief Operating Officer


Juanita started her career as a Renong Management Trainee attached to Projek Lebuhraya Utara-Selatan Berhad (PLUS Berhad) in 1994. Upon completion of the management trainee programme, and over a period of five and a half years, she was assigned to the Human Resource Department, followed by the Internal Audit Department where she was responsible to conduct audits on departments, regional offices and toll plazas and subsequently the Corporate Affairs Department. Her last position in PLUS Berhad was Assistant Manager, Corporate Affairs Department. In 2001, she was promoted to Senior Manager and transferred to Kinta Kellas PLC (now known as Opus Berhad); another subsidiary of Renong Berhad mainly involved in project management. There she was attached to the Corporate Services Division of Kinta Kellas PLC, in charge of the accounting operations of the company, responsible in developing the finance manuals, policies and procedures, preparing the budget as well as monitoring actual performance against budget for the company and its Malaysian subsidiaries.

Juanita joined Prokhas in May 2006 as Senior Manager, Special Projects Division and was the team lead for the implementation of an End-To-End Financing System (ETEFS) for a Government agency. She was later promoted to Assistant General Manager, Financial Solutions in 2009. In 2010, she was appointed as the Head of Finance & Advisory Division. Her job scope includes overseeing the operations of the Finance & Treasury Department and the advisory engagements in the Corporate Advisory Department. On the same year she became the Head of Finance & Human Resource Division and took on the position as Deputy General Manager before being promoted to General Manager in 2012, Senior General Manager in 2019 and Chief Operating Officer in 2021.

Juanita holds a Bachelor of Accounting from University of Malaya and a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow.

Azlan Mohd Agel
Senior General Manager - Guarantee Schemes Management


Azlan has over 30 years of corporate experience. He joined Prokhas in 2006 and currently heads the Guarantee Schemes Management Division where he oversees the operations of Syarikat Jaminan Pembiayaan Perniagaan Berhad (SJPP) and Syarikat Jaminan Kredit Perumahan Berhad (SJKP), companies under the Minister of Finance Incorporated.

Prior to his current appointment, Azlan held a number of roles in the company including Head of the Managing Director’s Office for 5 years where he oversaw the Strategic Planning, Project Management, Risk Management and Corporate Communications functions across the company and Head of Technology Solutions Division for 8 years where he was responsible for the overall strategic planning, application and operations of IT within Prokhas, and was also responsible for the delivery of IT-related assignments for Prokhas’ external clients.

Azlan was also a nominee of Pengurusan Danaharta Nasional Berhad to the Board of Directors of Edaran Berhad (an IT Services company listed on Bursa Kuala Lumpur) from 2012 to 2018.

Before joining Prokhas, Azlan was with IBM Business Consulting Services, PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting, Price Waterhouse (Management Consultancy Services) and Software Alliance Malaysia. Azlan holds degrees in Computer Science and Economics from New Mexico State University, USA and received his Project Management certification from Project Management Institute, Pennsylvania in 2005.

Shamsiah A Rahman
Senior General Manager - Secretarial Services


Shamsiah A Rahman, joined Prokhas as Assistant General Manager and Head of Secretarial Services in February 2006 and is currently the Head of Secretarial Services Division and Senior General Manager of Prokhas. A Chartered Secretary and an associate member of the Malaysian Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (MAICSA) by profession, she brings with her more than 25 years of experience in the Company Secretarial line.

Prior to joining Prokhas, she was the Head of Secretarial Unit and the Joint Company Secretary of Pengurusan Danaharta Nasional Berhad (Danaharta) until its closure in December 2005. She continues to be the Joint Company Secretary of Danaharta Group of Companies and several government owned public and private companies as well as companies limited by guarantee such as DanaInfra Nasional Berhad, Mass Rapid Transit Corporation Sdn Bhd, Syarikat Jaminan Pembiayaan Perniagaan Berhad and many more, under the outsourced company secretarial services provided by her division.

Natasha Zain
Senior General Manager - Advisory Services


Natasha Zain is currently the Head of Advisory Services Division for Prokhas. She has more than 20 years of experience in financial advisory, management consulting, strategy and corporate planning. She joined Prokhas in 2009 as a Manager in Corporate Advisory, promoted to Head of Department in 2010, progressed to Head of Division in 2015, before assuming her current position as Senior General Manager, Advisory Services Division in 2022. Throughout her tenure in Prokhas, she has helmed a multitude of advisory engagements spanning strategy, governance, privatisation and financial advisory, involving various Government ministries, agencies, statutory bodies and Government-owned companies.

Natasha started off her career as an Investment Analyst with Pesaka Jardine Fleming, an international stockbroking house, undertaking equity investment research which encompassed financial analysis and valuation, as well as industry research and client liaison. Natasha later joined PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting Malaysia as a Consultant in the Financial Advisory Services division, where she provided strategy and corporate finance advisory, specifically in project financing and privatisation. Natasha was subsequently with Sharikat Permodalan Kebangsaan (SPK) Berhad as the Strategy & Communications Manager, where her role involved strategy formulation and KPI monitoring, business development and corporate communications. Prior to joining Prokhas, she was the Senior Manager, Strategy, Office of Group President and CEO for the Sapura Group, where she was involved in strategy, corporate planning, mergers & acquisitions and business development for the diversified conglomerate.

Natasha is a graduate of the University of Bristol, United Kingdom with a B.Sc. (Hons) in Economics and Accounting with Law.

Doris Lai Yee Foong
General Manager – SJPP Processing, Portfolio and Administration


Doris has more than 30 years of experience in the banking sector mainly in the areas of Credit Processing, Restructuring & Recovery. She served in various organisations such as Kwong Yik Bank Berhad, RHB Bank Berhad and Pengurusan Danaharta Nasional Berhad (PDNB). In Prokhas, she started off as a Senior Manager and eventually heads the Credit Recovery, Restructuring and Loan Admin Department. Her main role was managing the residual assets of Danaharta. She was also involved in advisory projects such as providing credit and loan management advisory services to Ministry of Finance (MOF). She has then moved on to supervise the operations of the Government Guarantee Schemes management for Syarikat Jaminan Pembiayaan Perniagaan Berhad (SJPP) and is now the Head of SJPP Processing, Portfolio and Administration Department.

Doris holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) majoring in Economics from University of Malaya. She is also an Associate Member (ACIS) of The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, UK.

Phang Chi Yan
General Manager – Credit and Claims Resolution


Phang is currently heading the Credit and Claims Resolution Division in Prokhas. He has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services sector mainly in the areas of corporate finance, project finance and credit recovery. He joined Prokhas in 2006 as Senior Manager attached with the Financial Solutions Department. Since then, he has undertaken various positions until his appointment as the General Manager in April 2022.

Prior to joining Prokhas, Phang was previously with TA Securities Bhd, Pengurusan Danaharta Nasional Berhad (PDNB) and Bank Muamalat Malaysia Berhad.

Phang is a Chartered Financial Analyst, CFA Institute and a Certified Financial Planner, CFP Board (FPAM). He holds a BSc Degree in Business Administration (Accounting, Finance, and Banking) and a MSc. Degree in Business Administration (Finance) from San Francisco State University, United States.

Juhaida Ismail
General Manager – Capital Markets


Juhaida joined Prokhas in April 2007 and currently assuming the role as the Head of Capital Markets Division in Prokhas. She accumulated more than 27 years of experience in the areas of Legal, Capital Markets and Credit Recovery. She was assigned with multiple projects mainly in fundraising exercises for DanaInfra Nasional Berhad (DINB) and other government-related companies. She is also a qualified legal practitioner with expertise in corporate exercises such as acquisitions and take-overs, joint-ventures, floatation exercises and due diligence.

Juhaida was formerly attached with numerous companies namely Messrs. Hisham, Sobri & Kadir, Securities Commission and ABRAR Discounts Berhad.

Juhaida holds a Bachelor of Laws from International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM).

Afifah Mazni Ahmad Tajudin
General Manager – Finance and Administration


Afifah is currently heading the Finance and Administration Division in Prokhas. Her previous employments include esteemed organisations such as Arthur Andersen, Ernst & Young and Utusan Melayu (Malaysia) before joining Prokhas in 2012. She brought with her more than 20 years of working experience in accounting and finance. She is highly skilled in financial reporting, management of tax matters, preparation of annual budget, statutory audit and due diligence review. She is also a member of The Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA) and Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).

Afifah graduated from University of Glamorgan, Wales, United Kingdom with Bachelor of Arts (Hons) majoring in Accounting.
