Tree Planting Activity at Kepong Botanic Gardens FRIM, Kepong Selangor
In the Company’s effort to raise environmental awareness among the staff, the Company collaborated with The Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM) to organise a tree planting activity on Saturday, 17 May 2025. A total of 24 staff members gathered at Kepong Botanic Garden to participate in the initiative which highlighted the urgent need to address global warming that threatens the nature’s ecosystems and biodiversity. During the session, the staff planted “Kelampayan” trees, a species originated from Borneo. Beyond its environmental impact, the event also fostered teamwork and volunteerism spirit among the staff, reinforcing our shared commitment to a more sustainable future for the next generation. Apart from the tree planting session, the staff had the opportunity to explore the Forest Skywalk, FRIM's second canopy walkway that has a highest point is 141 meters above sea level. The structure is made of aluminium and steel, and includes 11 towers and 8 bridges, ranging from 18 to 50 meters in height, with a total length of 250 meters, offering a breathtaking panoramic view.
