A SECOND tender exercise for 270 properties of various types, with an indicative value (IV) of almost RM700 million, is being called by Prokhas Sdn Bhd.

The offerings from this Ministry of Finance unit tasked with managing and recovering the realisable assets of the dormant national asset management company, Pengurusan Danaharta Nasional Bhd, are located mainly in Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Johor and Penang.

Among the properties on offer are 142 residential units, 40 industrial, 31 commercial, 29 plots of development land, 18 retail premises, nine office lots and one plot of agricultural land.

The residential offerings include two units of double-storey semi- detached houses in Bandar Putra Permai, KL, each with a built-up area of 2,3910sq ft and come at IVs of RM400,000 and RM430,000.

In addition, 36 apartment units at Cocobay Condo Resort in Telok Kemang, along Jalan Pantai in Port Dickson, are up for sale. These one- to three-bedroom units with built-up areas of between 904sq ft and 1,054sq ft come at IVs ranging from RM48,800 to RM63,000.

Among the industrial properties offered is a complex comprising five factory buildings, a workshop, two storage buildings and other ancillary buildings at Jalan Tandang, Petaling Jaya. Sited on 9.30 acres, it has an IV of RM35 million.

Other industrial premises up for tender include a double-storey detached factory with a three storey office annexe sited on a 87,120sq ft plot in the Pasir Gudang Industrial Area of Johor. This parcel has an IV of RM6.7 million.

Another industrial offering comes in the form of an 11.34-acre plot in Bukit Raja, Klang at an IV of RM13.34 million.

In the commercial sector, some of the choice properties on offer include two contiguous parcels of commercial land, in Taman Tun Dr Ismail, KL, designated for petrol station use and come at an IV of RM11 million.

In Bukit Mertajam, Penang, 135 shoplots with a nett lettable area of 224,773sq ft within the seven-storey City Parade Commercial Complex are also on offer, at an IV of RM14.52 million. In the retail sector, three units of shoplots at UE3 Shopping Mall at Plaza Uncang Emas in Taman Miharja, Cheras, KL, are also available. They have built-up areas of between 4,734sq ft and 14,890sq ft, with IVs ranging from RM620,000 to RM1.45 million.
