New executive director for Khazanah

PETALING JAYA (Sept 24, 2013): Khazanah Nasional Bhd appointed Datuk Charon Wardini Mokhzani as its new executive director at managing director's office effective Nov 6.
Charon is currently CIMB Group deputy CEO, investment banking and CEO of CIMB Investment Bank Bhd. He joined CIMB in August 2004 having been managing partner of a Malaysian law firm, Zaid Ibrahim and Co and has had a career in law, corporate finance and investment banking, spanning 23 years.
Khazanah also announced that Dr Nungsari Ahmad Radhi, executive director, head of research and investment strategy, had left the company on Sept 1 to assume a position as managing director at Prokhas Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned company of Minister of Finance, Incorporated.
Dr Nungsari had served in his role at Khazanah since February in 2007.
Meanwhile in a separate release by CIMB, the group said its CEO Datuk Seri Nazir Razak will assume the role of CIMB Investment CEO while it hunts for a suitable replacement for Charon.
